CJW
I used the TACCOM Qualoads as my primary reload equipment for the Rockcastle/Benelli Shotgun Championship last weekend, but my overflow belt holder is the FSL-12 so I can dual-/quad-load from that. My one problem with that was on running stages (you might have heard there was a fair amount of running at the match ). I found that with the front guides tensioned to the point of providing decent retention, but not so much as to make it hard to draw out the bottom shells, I would tend to lose the top one or two shells off each side while running. Has anybody rigged up a way to hold those top shells in place better without making them harder to draw? (MarkCO, I would really like any input you have to offer here!) Thanks. fiddler
I just put my hand on it. At the 2012 Ironman I ran the brake rope on the slide right over the carrier and managed to strip all the shells out of it on the way down the slide. Won't do that again. Actually, I did several things at the Ironman that I won't do again.
