My only guess is to loosed the black bolt (I think its called the index bolt) but I thought I would check here first in case loosening it makes 100 springs fall out or something. cjorg Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Yep, that's the one. You will need to remove a few prices and parts to get to it as it slides out of the bottom. Check the indexing assembly bolt for tightness as mine backed out and ruined the spring. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
markEmark Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 If you can list more details on getting to the bolt on the index lever I would appreciate it. My new SDB quit indexing shorty after I got it all set up. It looks like the index lever is wobbly and it not picking up the hole in the shell plate before it tries to index. Either that bolt is loose or I have damaged the index lever causing it to not be in the correct location. Thanks for any details anyone can share here.
