Mullannix930
I'm looking for 45 loads for IDPA and USPSA. I need to make sure that the velocity is good for power factor in my Glock 36. I'm shooting for the 750 FPS range in the 36. I use 230 gr plated and FMJ, and I use unique, tightgroup, HP-38 and trueblue. Any ideas, my chrono is dead and I can't afford a new one yet. Matt in TN
I average 800 fps out of my G30 with a 230gr plated Berry's Bullet and 4.9gr of Titegroup. I guess you could extrapolate my chrono data from load development (below) and say that 4.5-4.6gr of Titegroup would give you 750 fps - but that starts making a lot of assumptions. Tread carefully, my friend! Gr Powder Avg Vel 4.9 793.3 5.0 806.5 5.1 818.6 5.2 830.2 Edited February 14, 2013 by Matt in TN
Mullannix930
As long as I get a soft recoil load, I'm happy. I just don't like the white box and similar stuff for shoots. They tend to be harsher than I like. I'll try those loads and see what I get. Anyone else?
