PaulW
For a few months now I really have not shot anything due to my ailing back. Now that I'm healing and making a rebound I can't tell you how much I miss shootings and all my shooting friends. I find that I think about shooting for hours now. It is almost as if I get to start over as well. I am getting a new open gun, and there are several area's I want to improve on. My mind races with thoughts and I feel my come back will be better than ever, after some needed work. But I am refreshed and ready more that ever. I can't wait. I'm thinking of getting Steve's dry fire book so I can track my progress and see what I need to work on. Need to work on my physical shape some as well but I want to imcorporate some of that into my shooting. Cardio shooting work out??? Here are what I think will be my top 3 items to work on, but not limited to. 1 - Group shooting 2 - Target Acqusition drills 3 - Bill drill type drills ( re-find my speed) What do you guys think, what am I missing? spook
Hi Paul, good that your healing process is working out. Personally, I'd throw in some: 1) gear shifting stuff, like close targets to far partials. 2) lots of transition drills 3) and very important...moving in and out of shooting positions Good luck!
