M&P mags not falling out

I recently procurred a second M&P and have noticed that very few magazines will fall freely from the gun. On my other M&P every mag falls free so I know it isn't a magazine issue.

So here's the question, can the issue be solved by taking a finger nail file or some super fine grit sand paper and sanding a little off the interior where the mags seem to be sticking? And once thats done hwo do I smooth out the polymer so that the mags don't stick because the sanding created a rough surface?

I am having the same problem. I did sand the inside of the grip and I can get the mags to fall free on the bench when the gun is cold (unfired). When I run a mag of ammo through the gun the mag will still hang up. I guess I will do some more sanding inside the grip and see if that helps. If anyone has a better answer I would like to know.
