Colored Finishes

Does there exist a Ceracoat type finish available in maroon?

I'm in the process of putting together a shotgun for 3-gun (to replace my 870) and since we're in the process of building up a 3-gun club team here at Texas A&M, I was thinking about getting it finished in maroon, maybe with a white aTm logo on the receiver.

The closest Ceracoat comes in is Crimson. Not really enthused about Duracoat. Any others out there?

I would say you pretty much covered it there!

Call Cerakote and ask them about custom mixes. Sometimes they will do it or they can recommend an applicator who can do it. Let me know if you need more assistance and I will see what I can do.

Start with Crimson ( H-221Q ) for the base color........ add some Red ( H-216Q ) mix and start add Black ( H-1900 ) just a little at a time. When you think you are close to the color STOP as the color will darken when it dry"s. You may need white also,,? If your not baking it just use the air dry colors.

I found a place that was willing and able to do the color mix. Coleburn Armory.
