Merlin Orr
Is there any "easy" way to watch Direct TV to an auxiliary screen running off/through your laptop...? I have a box I could dedicate with an outlet in my office. Would like to run a second (or third) screen with either a full screen TV display on a third screen or PiP on my second monitor. g.willikers
To watch or record tv on a computer requires a tv-in card or adapter. Haupauge.com has an entire product line. Edited September 21, 2012 by g.willikers

Heckler
How about sending it to your ipad or android device? DirectTV on the go
Merlin Orr
I already have an extra DirectTV box... with a paid plan. Really just wanting to run a screen PiP on my computer monitor from the TTV box.. The Direct TV on the go would cost me as data on my wireless card - and the connection speed is pretty slow here and I don't think I could run anything with a quality I could actually watch.
