JimInFL Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Went out to shoot my new upper yesterday. Setup is Vortex 1-4 and Burkett mount with a Fastfire 3. Vortex was quick enough to zero at 25. Was going to move on out further, but thought I would go ahead and work on the dot while at the 25. Was off quite a bit so I shot at a target in the lane next to me that was only about 7-8 yards to get it settled in a little. I ran out of 'up' adjustment with the POI still 6" low and 4" left. I don't see anything wrong with the way it's mounted e.g. burrs, bends, etc. If I can't figure anything else out, I may have to resort to some kind of shimming. Looking for input/suggestions.
