Bunchies95
I installed an extended trigger release on my XDm 5.25 near the end of last year. Lately it has started getting very stiff/hard to depress. I removed it and the ramp on the release was scuffed. After polishing it for a bit, everything works fine again. I had to do that for the first time two months ago, but had to do it again last night. At least this time I didn't make the mistake of removing the entire assembly, that was a nightmare last time. What could be causing this and how can it be prevented?
carter300
Have never had this issue to be honest. Lets see if anybody else has had what you speak of.
diehli
If it's getting scuffed, it likely means either that there's debris in there that needs to be cleaned out or that the catch itself could use deburring. Either way, the solution is to pull everything out and clean and polish it.
