rangedog
I bought my sidewinder new in 1986 and it's never missed a beat since. The plastic on the tumbling drum has got brittle with age though, and the end is nigh, with a couple of bits breaking off recently. I sent some pics to RCBS in hope, asked the question re guarantee and guess what....they are sending me a new drum free of charge, no questions asked, no hesitation and said they were real happy to be of help! The drum retails for $106.95 and I'm in Australia, so freight would be at least $50- on top...to replace via a retailer here would be around $250-. Awesome service for a product I've had for 26 years and wasn't even faulty, it just wore out! I have no RCBS connection other than as a very happy customer, just giving credit where it's due.....
