tackdr1ver
Ok here's a strange one: I am experiencing an issue with my mags I have 5 tuned brazos mags with grams followers. Here's my issue, I noticed in dry fire that if I rack the slide over an unloaded mag, the mag sticks and won't drop free. I have taken the guts out and tried it and they all drop free so it must be an issue with the Grams followers. Have any of you experienced this? If so, what did you do to fix it? I do not plan to run the gun dry in competition but if I do, I don't want to have to pry the mag out to reload. Your help is greatly appreciated! Brazos Custom
If your followers have been modified to not lock the slide back you will need to modify the slide stop as well. Most likely the follower is catching on the slide stop and won't let the mag drop free. You will be able to see this if you lock the slide back and insert the mag and see how the slide stop is interacting with the follower.
tackdr1ver
Thanks Brazos! That's it! I can see where the follower is getting wedged against the slide stop. But, the slide stop has already been altered and ground down(prolly not enough). How far should I take it down?
