tkheard
Hello, On some of the cartridges I've reloaded, once in a while when lowering the ram, it seems to want to stop. If I pull the lever up a bit harder it comes free. I've looked at alignment, the primer feed, etc. I *think* it may be coming from station 2. It doesn't happen very often and it never seems to happen if I'm loading a single cartridge at a time. Any hints or suggestions? Thanks Tom
Jay870
Its not unusual for the powder funnel (which also bells the case mouth) to "stick" in the case mouth momentarily. Using case lube tends to help, as does polishing the end of the powder funnel.
CZinSC
This happens to me every time I have a "CBC" headstamp case in station 2. The resistance is so great, that the ram will seem like it hit something on the way down. Nope, it's just the CBC sticking to the powder flare die.
