I'm fairly certain that tin foil will be blown to bits the first time you pull the trigger. You would probably end up needing some kind of clamp-on device that can stand up to a fair amount of pressure. Those ports work to reduce muzzle-rise by venting some of the combustion gases upward. Those gases are under a fair amount of pressure to propel the shot column down the barrel... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
