justin226
Just doing some reading on the internet and was wondering if anyone can tell me if it is safe to dryfire rimfire P226. Have heard it can break firing pin. Usually at local range before RO clears the range the command is hammerdown and holster. Wondering what else I can do to prove chamber is emtpy?? Thanks
BlueOvalBandit
Manufacturer responses vary on whether dry firing is ok in rim fire. Some rim fires will not ding the chamber mouth, what does sig say? And no I don't think there's anyway around the pulling the trigger on hammer down.
