8ring
Shot my first super classsifier today with my GP-100 using moonclips and .357 mag. After the third reload, the cylinder was nearly too hot to touch and slowed down my reloads because it was hard to keep the cylinder in one place. (Loads were 140 gr. Laser Cast over 6.2 Universal - 1220 fps.) Any suggestions? Tape of fingers 3 and 4 of the left hand, gloves, etc? Or be a man and build up some callouses? Thanks, Chris
scotty
This is one of my best excuses for fumble fingered reloads on my 610. My gun was too hot-really.
Theo Carter
Same thing happened to me in my first uspsa local match now I carry a glove in my range bag just in case a stage has alot of reloads.
Tom Mainus
8 ring, I always wear a glove on my right hand(I am left handed) when shooting revolver, I switch hands when reloading and I always burn the inside of my hand on the forcing cone. I just wear some baseball batting gloves.
para45
One guy I shoot with wears a glove (he is always in the top three). You may also want to learn a new reloading style for just that application. My right hand never leaves the grip so I have very little contact with the cylinder except to slam it shut. Good luck....
