cr420 Posted December 22, 2011 Share Posted December 22, 2011 Today a question came in to the shop asking for the history of the Patriot, so here it is. As has been answered before, there were 16 Patriots made. They were made right after 9/11, and there was a red, white, and blue signature theme. Dave has 001, it's hard chromed and shoots great. These guns were not a complete custom build, they came in as functioning guns from STI, but Dave did the sight cuts, full enhancement, and slide cuts. They featured a Novak front sight cut, with a Bomar rear, flutes in the slide, DP Patriot on one side, and an American flag on the other side. The base guns were blued with a red magwell, and there was an option up to hard chrome (I think all but 2 were hard chrome). The original price of the pistols was $1776.
