I've been shooting recreationally for the better part of 30 years, but don't have any experience in the competitive arena other than a single bowling pin match way back in '88. Due to our current HOA rules I'm unable to reload, so I'm probably going to pick-up something in 9mm so I can actually afford to shoot and make the mortgage payments as well. I'll be lurking around and will try not to ask too many stupid questions. Be safe & shoot straight! Check out orsaap.com for info regarding the matches we shoot out there; I will be glad to loan you some gear for a USPSA or IDPA match. I just might take you up on that offer! It looks like there is a USPSA match this Saturday (11/19) and a 3-gun match Sunday. I'm going to try and make it to at least one of them as an observer. Yurei Welcome..! They have some very good matches at Tac-2 in Greeneville, TN. as well that you should check out..
