WA SV Infinity Airsoft Gun - Reset Problem

I have a Western Arms Infinity Expert airsoft gun. It will occasionally fire one shot then not completely reset. Completely letting off the trigger won't reset it. However, if you move your hand around, especially move the thumb safety, you hear a click, then it will shoot.

I've taken the thing apart and cleaned everything. I've lubed it up with silicone oil. I replaced the recoil spring with a new one, and the problem persists.

Since manipulating the thumb safeties (which also probably allows the sear and disconnector to move a little) fixes the problem, I'm sure there is some friction somewhere in those parts.

What I don't understand is what caused the problem? If it was only friction, the problem would have been present from the beginning.

Anyone have any experience with this airsoft problem? I've done a google search but haven't come up with anything.
