Speed Option

About Steel Challenge:

Here, in Brazil south, we are organizing some Steel tournement, and we don´t  know how the stage Speed Option is (rules..) .

An old shooter said that there was a bonus (2 sec.) ? We will apreciate help on this stuff.

The site http://www.isishooers.com don´t make any reference to this stage, that could be useful to us...

The option plate (3rd from left, 20 yards) is worth 2 seconds. Realistically though this plate isn't really an option , You'r time just isn't competitive without it.

This is how I understand it.

Looking at the targets with the stop plate furthest to the left, and the other 4 targets going to the right. The target just to the right of the stop plate is the "option target". If you hit that target and successfully engage all the other targets and stop plate, you deduct 2 sec. from your time.

P.S. You also could shoot the stage in 4 shots, skipping the option plate and just taking your score without any time deduction.

The  "option" is really  only a scoring thing. Shoot  all five targets, stop plate last.
