Wakal
On "Standard Rifle" compensators...the rules say a 1" diameter and 3" in length. I assume that the 3" orientation must be along the bore axis, correct? In other words, no JP-style comps that extend the barrel by 1" but are 3" wide....or...? And the second question...where does the 3" start? From the end of the rifling or from the end of the comp? Alex
kurtm
3" along axis. The diameter is 1" 2. It has never really been set in stone, but I take it to mean from the muzzle crown forward for the measurment. That is the way RM3G will measure it. KURTM
hopalong
Wakal. i have a Springfield Scout/Squad and had the same question so I e-mailed USPSA . the response was as follows: The comp/break cannot be over 1 inch in diameter along the axis of the bore, and it can not be over 3 inches long from the crown/rifling to the end of the break as Kurt said. So Kurt Is THE MAN with the plan Kurt, I am ready for the MS 3-gun things are coming together
