Operation New Release

One of our local military wives is organizing (with her deployed husband) a program called, “Operation New Release”. The idea is to get as many new CD’s, DVD’s and video games (i.e. Playstation, X-Box, etc.) over to our troops. While her husband and his unit benefit from his good selection of music and movies (his nickname is “Blockbuster”) you can imagine that it doesn’t take too much time until you get tired of listening/watching the same song/movie.

Once items are received, her husband will manage the items in an organized manner for checkout by the soldiers. As the donations come in, eventually a “library” for future deployed troops will be created. A larger library will allow for obviously more variety for the unit but also the units with which they are adjacent to.

You can either send it to me and I'll take it to the lady handling it, or you can send it to a local radio station that's taking collections (basically the same one I'd be delivering to).
