beltjones
Has anyone who has switched from Glocks to a gun with a different grip angle noticed a reduction in wrist or elbow soreness? I've been dealing with a wrist injury for the past few months, and I'm starting to think that shooting a different gun might provide a little relief due to not having to extend my wrist quite so far forward. Any former Glock shooters want to chime in?

GForceLizard
I noticed that switching from Glock to 1911 I have lots of shoulder and wrist soreness and none before. I blame 1) higher power ammo for major and 2) I'm doing a lot more live practice. I don't think the grip angle changed anything.

usmc1974
Honestly, I never found a Glock hard on the body. Always thought it was easyer/softer to shoot then other auto.
beltjones
Honestly, I never found a Glock hard on the body. Always thought it was easyer/softer to shoot then other auto. I agree. I'm just dealing with a freak injury that may require surgery in October, and thought I'd go out on a lark and ask to see if anyone else has noticed any reduction in wrist or elbow soreness after switching.
