gng4life Posted June 23, 2011 Share Posted June 23, 2011 I am looking to get/build an electronic scoring system or at least make it all digital so I was wondering if anyone at other Steel Challenge clubs use anything like this? I'm not talking about the SC scoring program, I'm talking about actually scoring the competitors on the line by some electronic means. Thanks for the input... photoracer Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 It's been done but I have yet to see it in my neck of the woods. It mentions it in the rules about having an electronic component in the stop plate. But then you have a correction factor to apply since by stopping the timer on the hit instead of the round firing you have to apply a fudge factor based on the time it takes the bullet to get to the target from the gun.
