7mmb
I decided to go with a new gun instead of a conversion kit for my EM in 9mm. Is a stronger recoil spring needed in 45? I plan on shooting only factory ammo or handloads to duplicate factory, no +P. How are the mags in 45? My 9mm came with the front spacer nose-diver. Skydiver
My Elite Match .45 was shooting like a champ out of the box, but that was with the good Bomar style sights and the before the rail. It got even better when I did the cheapo trigger job of simply polishing the trigger bar surfaces and the plunger.
Nealio
Polishing the plunger and trigger bar is key. If you then throw in a lighter hammer spring and Henning's firing pin you can get a 3.5lb trigger pretty easy. The stock mags in .45 are mediocre, but MecGar makes mags for the .45. i have some on the way as soon as SOMEONE gets some in ..
