two shoes Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 I want to say thanks for all of the info here, I have days of reading ahead of me. I have been a long time plinker but had never really practiced or trained, just shot for something fun to do. I watched a USPSA match in Nov. out near me and joined the fun in Dec. I was able to make my second match this past weekend. I had a great time. Although I didn't shoot that well, I did have one stage where everything clicked for me. I shot it the way I had planned and made each mag change where I wanted. That is a rewarding feeling. The people I have met have been super helpful. If it wasn't for the pinewood derby today and a knife skills course tomorrow I'd be out shooting somewhere. I was just reading about a training drill "Dot torture" I need to find time to make up some targets and try it this week. Where in Jersey are you?
