chp5
I’m messing with a non-competitive “Open” Glock just for fun/practice. I don’t want to spend a lot of $ to build a real Open gun, so please spare me those suggestions. It’s a G22 slide with a G35 barrel, Carver mount and a C-More. The G35 barrel extends past the G22 slide and I’ll have my smith put some ports in it. I’m looking for suggestions for the port configuration. For example, Magna-Port makes ports that are a series of small holes. Federal after-market Glock barrels have two large cross-sections cut in their ported barrels. Ports in competitive Open guns are generally large round holes. Any suggestions/experiences? Thanks.
Custom Glock Racing
I like the factory style ports but would probably go with 2 pairs on a 40.
chp5
Thanks Matt. I should have stated that I only intend to put ports at the end of the barrel and not in the slide cut-out because I don't have a blast shield for the C-More. What would you suggest? Here's two examples:
Custom Glock Racing
My answer stays the same. The same ports can be put on the outside of the slide and I have done that on several guns.
