kend
I need a written new shooter briefing to go over at our new shooters meeting before the match starts, something that hits the top safety issues and a few things they need to know. Skydiver
The North Carolina Section has this: http://www.ncsection.org/NewShooter/FirstMatch.htm and we at the Northwest section have this: http://northwestsection.org/newshooter.html which also refers to the NC section page. I recommend using some of that as a starting point and tune for your local practices and conditions. E.g. Our section is pretty strict about safety checks, but other sections are more casual about it.

G-ManBart
You could also send them links to these two threads (your first match, and tips for newbies) that they could read at their own pace: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30482&view=findpost&p=350697 http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78927&view=findpost&p=913533
Golden Bear
One club I've shot at has a one sheet (2-page) handout for new shooters that explains safety rules, range procedure (from do you understand the COF, to LAMR, to ULSC). It's a handy reference the the new shooter can read, take home and review. About the only thing I would add is the web address for USPSA and for the local club website.
