fastarget
let me explain, after month of dry fire I was doing the BE drill of shooting 3 targets left to right and left to right three times. All of a sudden my brain started calling the shots. Wow, finally. But, I can do it and do it dry firing in transitions as fast I can move, but during matches and live fire practice I have not...... So what can I do to transition my brain from dry to live....?
Jman
First make absolutely sure you're not blinking with live ammo. Jim
fastarget
I checked for that, and I do watch the sight go up and down but my brain is not processing the info and relaying it to me is what it feels like. too much in a hurry to think, or is the brain shelving the info due to other things ? Accuracy has been quite good in matches, several of the practice books have drills, if I do them slow I can deal with it, but as soon as it is in match speed I lose that. Jman
This helped me understand the process. Starts about 2/3rds of the page down at "Fundamentals & Technique". Very good stuff. http://www.brianenos.com/pages/words.html Jim
