RC Parker
Mounting a JPoint on my 24" M2 with Arredondo's rib mount. I've seen them mounted back close to the receiver, and all the way out to halfway down the rib. I'm using this for both 3-gun and clays, and since I have to drill and tap the rib, I want to get an idea what works best. Any ideas? Thanks! outerlimits
i shot with one mid-way out the barrel for a few years. new build will have the optic on the receiver. tried the speed bead and it's too close. like it on the receiver cause it's easier to pick-up flying clays with the bigger field of view. YMMV.
TruePunisher
Close to the receiver is my preference if you are going to the a barrel mounted unit. Behind the receiver is too close for my liking and on top to the receiver tends to be to high.
