diablodawg Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Just bought a G24 uncut slide from Lone Wolf to top my G22 for Limited and L10; the only model they had in stock was the uncut (no holes) version. I was going to get some lightening done anyhow, but I'd like to know how much metal needs to be cut out. What's everyone running weight-wise? Any preferred type of cuts? Was thinking of having one of the reputable gunsmiths put some work into it and make it look nice- any recommendations? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BlueOvalBruin Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Try it uncut first and see how you like it. It will shoot very soft and you might like it as is. If not there’s some old thread on glocktalk that lists slide weights (http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=649677&page=25). Then just cut it down to maybe the G35 slide weight (~14.9oz for slide assy minus recoil assy and barrel). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
EkuJustice Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 I just run the std lone wolf with their factory cut and a 15 pound spring and have been happy with the way it shoots.
