An unexpected phone call....

I received a call today about a pistol that I had ordered back on May 10th of 2010. Springfield actually lost my order specs shortly after I placed the order, so I just cancelled it out figuring it was an omen and not to follow thru on it. I figured I would just continue to shoot my Fusion 40 caliber SS pistol that tok my to 18th overall at last years SS nationals.

What I really wanted was a Springfielf TRP Professional with a fully adjustable rear site and a full length guide rod chambered in 40 S&W.

So Kurt calls me telling me the pistol is ready for shipping!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like I'll have my Springield after all!!! It also looks like I will have to try my hand at getting into this years SS nationals.

I was so excited I just had to share this info.

Here are the specs:

Springield TRP Professional 5" 1911 with the following additions:

-.100 wide fiber optic serrated front site

-Bomar style fully adjustable rear site

-2.5-2.75 trigger pull

-short trigger

-20LPI front strap checkering

-Front cocking serrations

-Full length guide rod

-extended thumb safety (ambi)

It is due to arrive Wed 1-12-11 and I can hardly wait.
