OUshooter
I searched around, but didn't see what I was looking for. Anyone have any experience with the Turkish made American Tactical .308 ammo? It's in my price range. I'm curious if the mixed reviews I've seen at the vendor websites are on target or off range?
lmccrock
The only reviews I have seen are for American Tactical 62gr 5.56 (scroll down to user Molon's post), and it is described as reliable, but inaccurate, even relative to other 62 gr surplus ammo. For a little more money, some options at Palmetto. For a little less, Wideners. Lee
DanielW
I've run 500 rounds or so of that American Tactical/Turkish MKE made stuff through my G3 clone. All functioned fine; can't comment too much on accuracy as those HK types are not the most accurate rifles in the world to begin with - but it appeared to be no better or worse than some Portuguese surplus I had. Shot it out to 300 from field positions with irons; "minute of 2 feet square target" standard.
