midget
Well I finally got a chance to play with the AR since I had the barrel threaded... So far, the recoil management system includes a spike's heavy buffer and a dpms linear compensator... Here is a short video of how it shoots now... Granted, if it wasn't so damned cold and I wasn't trying to just get it done and over with, I would have been able to hold more steady... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxmCwZK6WDE&feature=player_profilepage I managed to find a second video that is a little more clear Edited January 3, 2011 by midget
Cap
Is that similar to the Levang?
midget
Is that similar to the Levang? It is the same, sorry, I forgot to mention that it is the DPMS Levang linear compensator http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=524840 Edited January 3, 2011 by midget
Graham Smith
My experience with the Levang is that it does not do much to reduce muzzle flip but it does reduce noise to the sides and rear because it directs it more forward. I like the one I have on my tactical carbine, but for 3-gun I'll take noise in exchange for reduced muzzle flip.
