paul788
Coaching three newbies today on steel plates. Two had a terrible time using two different pistols with the only common factors being caliber(9mm) and front sight(fiber optic rod). Changed guns to a plain front sight and first round hit percentage doubled. One of the two with the issue qualifies as expert on a military qual course with the M9, the other has very little experience with any gun. After questioning both they were focusing on the rod, not the top edge of the sight. Do beginners who should be concentrating on accuracy need the gee whiZ, go fast gadgets?
