3ddiver
I am starting to shoot an indoor 22 league for the winter and I am thinking about a red dot optic for this. My question is when it comes time for the USPSA again am I likely to have a hard time going to regular sights. I dont want to go backwards by using the red dot but I am trying to get some trigger, grip, stance time. I am already dry practicing everything but this sounds like fun. Thanks for the input. benos
A couple things... Why not just shoot the 22 league with iron sights? That would be nothing but good cross training. But if you do switch to a dot, when you go back to irons you will just have to re-train yourself to get back on that front sight before breaking every shot. be
3ddiver
I probably will end up using regular sights but I will not be competitive.I originally planned on using the regular sights until I saw how far away the targets are. The targets are far enough away that the front sight more than covers the bullseye. I think they are 50 feet.
Tzygä
Once you are going to the red dot sights and you don't want to go back iron sight. Edited December 4, 2010 by Tzygä
