kennygss
Hi Fellas, Long time lurker deciding to get into it again. I shot southern Cal action matches (pistol) in the 80's and would like to get back in the game, perhaps with three gun. I need some advice on equipment. I thought I could list what I have, and you guys could help me put together a proper load out. I really dont WANT to buy new guns to begin with So Pistols: 2nd Gen Glock 17 stock Browning Hi Power stock Colt 19ll Brown magwell etc, no comp. Shotguns: Benelli M1 Super 90 (8 shot rifle sights) Remington 870P (8 shot rifle sights, wood furniture) Rifle: 16' H-bar w/ carbine length gas, flat top. Mini Y-comp 1/9 twist M1A Scout .308 What is the logical best combination of these to start? I would think the Glock, the Benelli and the AR? Thanks in advance. I would be shooting in the southern Cal area.
Tzygä
Hi and welcome. The Glock, the Benelli and the AR are all fine guns. If I were you I would go to the range and shoot with those guns. At the same time look what equipments and guns 3-gunners use and ask why they use those equipments and guns. Go to the 3-gun matches and look around and ask people about their opinnins. Some shooters might let you try their gun so you can decide better what you want. Be sure what you want before you buy anything. Don't be too hasty. I hope this help you.
