murkish
I am more or less a beginner. I am just looking for something for around the house. Mainly rock and blues. Thanks, Jack
murkish
For any who are interested, I ended up with a Line6 LowDown Studio 110. It is a nice fit for my Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. Gonna have a thumpin', good time! Jack
mgood
I like the Geddy. (And I'm not a Fender fan. That's one of only a few of their basses I like.) The amp, for a beginner/practice amp should be fine.
sirveyr
I'm a fan of the Line 6 amps myself. I've played on a few of them, but I don't own one...yet. I've got a Peavey 112 and a Peavey 212. The 112 is perfect for the jamming in the house. The 212 is perfect for wrecking the house and the neighbors houses. I typically turn mine up to 11...just kidding, more like 2. Edited October 29, 2010 by sirveyr
