Powder Check on a 450B?

Recommended Posts

I have a Dillon 450B and would like to use a Powder Check on it. If I use my Lee seating/crimping die in station 4 is there some reason I couldn't have the powder check installed in the empty station 3, or is there some other fitment issue here I can't determine?

TIA,

Sal

Yeah to get the dillon system to work would be very difficult. But there are other solutions

Thanks for the link! What a nice site with tons of great info.

Ordered the RCBS Lock-Out today.

Well, the problem still exists on a 450 or 550 of having to insert the bullet at station 4 and also to seat and crimp in one stage. Someone on thsi forun was working on some sort of electronic powder check for the 550 that could be used on station 3. Anything ever come of that?

I use the Hornady powder cop and I really like it. It is right in front of my eyes, and, very easy to see. It doesn't lock things up, but I find it more than adequate for me. It is very quick to adjust. I use it on my 650 for every caliber.
