Spartan .45 question....

Dawson makes a replacement sight that is specific to the spartan cut. I have one coming in for mine but have the FO out of the factory one till it comes in

Do you know what the specs for the standard FO Spartan front FO sight? What is the recommended replacement size? I want to go to a all black front on Spartan 9mm, staying consistent with my other game guns.

I think that someone said the front sight on the Spartan is .125 wide. I've been going through the 15 or so pages that come up when I searched "Spartan" and I've taken in more information than I can remember all at once, lol.

Lots of people seem to swap them out for a Dawson .100 front.

(And, as mentioned above, Dawson has one specifically to fit the Spartan.)

EDIT: Actually, if you want all black - no fiber optic - the only one I see on Dawson's site is .185 tall x .125 wide. I think that's the same HxW as the FO that comes on the Spartan. If you want/need a different size, you might give them a call.

Go to dawsonprecision.com and type "Spartan" in the search field. That brings up a handfull of sights.
