cas
I was looking at this truglo fiber optic sight with interest... ...until I saw it has a battery. Uh oh. Then it dawned on me, at least by USPSA rules it would be a problem, knocking me out of Limited / Irons. " “Optical/electronic sights” - aiming devices which use electronic circuitry and/or lenses. " What if I didn't turn it on? It would still have electronic circuitry. Phooey. Edited August 28, 2010 by cas
ken hebert
Seems like under the new rules (proposed) it would be legal in limited, as non-magnified red dot optics are allowed. I dont see this as being any different, as it is non-magnified.
Chuck Anderson
Easiest and most correct answer for USPSA will be an email to DNROI@USPSA.org. My take is it's an optic/electric sight. You could use it in Open, or Tactical/Limited. But in Tactical or Limited this would be your only optic sight.
