NickJ Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 If you're shooting a 1911/2011, this is one cool tool. I can't believe it took me so long to find it. Getting the extractor out of the slide on a .45 is pretty easy without it, .40 gets to be more of a pita, and .38 Super drove me crazy. This tool just wedges the extractor tip over, using one hand, and you pry the extractor back with the other. A DP screwdriver is included to do the prying with, I prefer a brass punch.
