mrwhite1
Is there any difference in the X-Fives listed under the regular pistol section vs the ones listed under the Mastershop page? I was under impression all X-Fives are Mastershop guns? http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProduct.aspx?categoryid=38 http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProduct.aspx?categoryid=61 Edited July 22, 2010 by mrwhite1
Ryan
At a minimum it looks like the regular X-fives are standardized with 4.5# triggers while the mastershop guns are further tuned with 2.2-3.5# trigger pulls. I would assume that the mastershop guns would have more TLC and personal attention but I'm not sure. Ryan
HuskySig
I was under the impression that all Mastershop X-Fives were no longer going to be imported in to the USA?
mrwhite1
Lady at Sig told me the X5s from Mastershop are made on a gun by gun basis, there is no overstock. The X5s on regular pistol page are still made in Germany, just not in the Mastershop. The trigger pulls do appear slightly lighter on the Mastershop ones also I'm guessing it to be similar to Smith and Wesson and their pro series, they are nicer than regular production guns, but not made completely in the custom shop.
