Other than that, that always practice their fundamentals. Absolutely...if you know standards or a classifier will be in the match, I think most good/top shooters are going to practice it. I know I did (not that I'm all that good, or a top shooter!) when I saw they had the standards stage for the 2008 Nationals. Field stages...nah, it's not worth it. Work on the fundamentals, some specific drills for key skills...that's where the rounds get burned up in practice. For folks that set up practice stages, the most important part is likely what few people do....break it down into sections on the timer. Just because one run was a second or two seconds faster doesn't mean much, if you don't know where that time was saved. R, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
