Small frame caliber conversion

I have an early model small frame Tanfo in .41 AE with a 4 3/4" barrel that I'd like to convert to 40 S&W. I can get a full kit from EAA but I'm wondering if a barrel is all I really need. My 41 AE barrel looks exactly like the LS model on the EAA website. Anybody know if they interchange?

Nope the slide is different for the 40sw. the 41AE has the same case head as the 9mm so your slide has a 9mm breach face. you can use just a barrel to go to 9mm but for 40sw yo will need the slide as well. on the bright side you can use the same mags for 40 as you do for the 41.
