justmike
I'm new to this forum and very green when it comes to practical pistol shooting. I got a good deal on a M&P 9pro for local uspsa and steel matches. It is a lot better than me at this point. My only problems with the gun is in the initial take up of the trigger. It feels like plastic on plastic rubbing together. My friends does it as well. I'm tring to figure out what it is and how to fix it. Honestly when I am shooting at speed I don't really notice it. G-ManBart
Thanks Yep...the replacement firing pin block is much better. You can also modify the factory FP block so that it's similar. I took a couple of coils off the FP block spring and combined it made a big difference. If you're going to do that much, put an Apex sear in it as well...much better than stock. Lots of good info on M&P trigger work here: http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/M&Ptriggerjob1.htm
