NRA Bullseye in Texas

Waco's Central Texas Rifle & Pistol Club used to have NRA Bullseye matches, but I'm not sure they do any more. There's contact info on their web page http://www.ctrpclub.com/. You might contact them. Often programs die due to a simple lack of a match director when the last one retires or dies. Looking to volunteer?

There is an active program at the Dallas Pistol Club in Carrolton. http://www.dallaspistolclub.com/index.php That's a pretty easy drive. The only other active program I know of is in Amarillo. http://www.amarillorpc.com/

Both the Dallas Pistol Club and Amarillo R&P Club have NRA sanctioned matches and state championships.

Check out my map in my signature line for the location of these ranges.

Edited to add: The NRA site isn't very user friendly. Go here and sign up for a free digital copy of the NRA publication Shooting USA. It has an extensive list of upcoming matches and their locations. http://www.nrapublications.org/ssusa/

Thank you for the help. Looking at your map the closest ones from Centerville are the Buffalo USPSA which is not to far, about 30 mins and the one in College station which is about an hour. Both shoot on Sundays which I cant do. I was unaware of the Bedias, which is only about 45 minutes so maybe I get to one of thiers since it is only 45 mins or so and they shoot on Saturday. The Conrow IDPA shoot is 1.5 hours for me and I have been down there once. Everything else is just too far of a drive to make all the time. Madisonville has a range set up for pistol, and once I learn the basics it would be a great place to set up a pin shoot or NRA bullseye. I would even be willing to direct the matches if I knew how.

Thank you very much for your help Steve J.
