GrumpyOne Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 more pricey option but there is always a sonic cleaner to look at. no dust at ALL with those. havent had a chance to play with one much but it is another alternative.... I use a Lyman tumbler, and yes, there is some dust. But just put the tumbler out in the shed, no noise to hear, no dust to deal with. And for the sonic cleaners, my wife has a small one she cleans her jewelry in, it seems to do a good job on that...Think I'll sneak in a couple of pieces of brass and see what happens. Also, thanks to those proposing the mineral spirits! Never would have thought of that and when really dry, my media gets nasty dusty and no fun to breathe.
