Baer45
I tried to search this one without success. I decided to load some boxes of LC 115 RN I have had sitting on the shelf and was suprised to find I have OAL isues with my Kart and Wilson Barrels. With a minimum OAL of 1.10 called for the bullet is still slightly too long when using the barrel as a guage...If there is any lead build up when shooting I run into failure to feed issues...Anyone ever run into this before? I did increase my bell a little to compensate for the lead which helped....I guess if anyone else is shooting Laser Cast 115s through a match barrel succesfully, then I need to adjust something...? Cy Soto
I had a similar issue with a pistol when loading lead bullets for it. I kept decreasing the OAL and the problem still remained. It turned out that the real issue was that my cases needed to be crimped a bit more. I added another 0.002" of crimp and the problem went away.
