EricBudd
According to the IDPA rule book I can change the sights on my pistol to "another conventional notch and post type." I am currently looking at the V-notch sigt offered by XS Sight Systems since I think V-Notch sights are easier on my eyes and faster for me. Is this sight legal for use in IDPA and, even if is is technicall not legal, would anyone really care?
Mark Perez
from the FAQ in the back of the book CAN I USE EXPRESS SIGHTS? Yes, they are considered to be conventional notch and post sights. CAN I USE FIBER OPTIC INSERTS IN MY SIGHTS? Yes, as long as the sights are of conventional notch and post design. hope that helps. MP
Gun Geek
Eric: At club matchesyou can use just about anything that the local match director lets you use. Some are strict, most are not. However, at a sanctioned match, they will care. Fortunately, the express site are OK. The reason I posted this is that there is a "play like you practice" philosophy that could be important here.
