USCSBarney
Have found some decent data for lead and jacketed rounds with Bullseye but don't seem much specifically for moly. I will be running 230gr Bear Creek through a 1911 with Bullseye and need some data specifically for that set up. Anyone have any data with OAL? Much appreciated in advance. fltbed
From my experience with Moly bullets, lead bullet data is what to use. As for the OAL with the Bear Creek 230 gr. I use: 1.200 with the FP’s. 1.250 with the RN’s. I can’t help you with any specific Bullseye load data. I haven’t loaded Bullseye in the 45 in over 20 years. 2MoreChains
My experience with Bear Creek's moly-bullets has been to work up the load like you would lead, but you may find that it's going to take an extra tenth or two to achieve the same velocities.
